He also sang in the Logannairs Barber Shop Chorus and was a member of the Society for The Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA). He later attended the Bellefontaine First Christian Church, Bellefontaine where he also sang in the choir. He was a former member of Stoney Creek Church of the Brethren, where he was a longtime treasurer and choir member. in Bellefontaine as an Inspector Supervisor, retiring in 1987. He is also preceded in death by all of his eight siblings that included seven brothers: Ronald, Russell, Warren, Glenno, Malcolm, Leonard, and Daryl Titus and one sister, Berdena Taylor. He was born in Rush Creek Township in Logan County, Ohio on July 18, 1927, the son of the late Knowles and Winnie (Dixon) Titus. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine. Titus, 95, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 7:38 a.m.
